This position will partner closely with the Vice President of Payer and Health System Partnerships, working effectively in a collaborative environment toward strategic organizational goals.

The Healthcare IT Account Manager is responsible for ensuring client needs are understood and met by each department within our company. This includes handling all client inquiries, working to find solutions to client opportunities and any issues, and managing our internal response to ensure clients are experiencing a positive relationship with WalkerHealthcareIT.

What you will do:

  • Act as a primary point of contact on assigned client accounts, representing WalkerHealthcareIT Technology Healthcare Consulting Services
  • Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
  • Work collaboratively with our Recruiting and Delivery Teams to ensure client expectations are being met
  • Partner with our client’s Corporate Procurement Office to manage New Requirements, Purchase Orders, SOW’s, and MSA’s
  • Meet regularly with clients to understand their needs and discuss alignment of our services and solutions
  • Provide insight into innovation opportunities to improve our client’s delivery and lower their costs
  • Understand client’s upcoming project needs and ensure our internal readiness to support them
  • Develop new leads within client accounts
  • Provide insight into employee retention, performance, and renewals
  • Manage day-to-day existing account requirements including:
    • Understanding and communicating the client’s needs to the Account Team
    • Keeping the client informed of key information that may be critical to their success
    • Monitoring candidate submissions; ensuring accuracy and timeliness of recruiting response
    • Assisting in interview logistics, preparation and follow up
    • Monitoring account performance to ensure we are exceeding client expectations, including timely starts
    • Ensuring compliance with Client MSA, performance reporting and onboarding

What we are seeking:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant professional experience; previous Clinical Contract services required; previous Account Management or Sales experience in IT Technology Services preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
  • Experience supporting large IT or Healthcare client accounts
  • Strong negotiation skills
