SaaS Security Posture & Third-Party Risk Engineering Lead | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a SaaS Security Posture & Third-Party Risk Engineering Lead to support enterprise cybersecurity initiatives focused on SaaS security, cloud security, and third-party technology risk. This role involves continuous security controls assessment, real-time exposure analytics, automated risk detection using Python and AI/ML models, and security compliance monitoring. The ideal candidate will bring strong cybersecurity engineering experience, knowledge of vendor risk management, and the ability to communicate actionable security findings to technical stakeholders and executive leadership. This is a Contract opportunity.

Core Requirements:

• Experience in cybersecurity engineering, SaaS security, cloud security, or third-party risk management.

• Experience with enterprise SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM).

• Strong understanding of continuous security controls assessment and monitoring.

• Experience with Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and vendor security risk assessment.

• Experience analyzing security exposure across SaaS applications and cloud environments.

• Knowledge of real-time exposure analytics and automated risk detection.

• Experience using Python for security automation, engineering, or risk analysis.

• Knowledge of AI/ML models supporting cybersecurity risk detection.

• Experience identifying SaaS and cloud security misconfigurations.

• Experience tracking security compliance requirements and control deficiencies.

• Experience supporting vendor risk mitigation and remediation activities.

• Knowledge of vulnerability analysis and cybersecurity risk assessment.

• Understanding of cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.

• Experience supporting security incident monitoring and response.

• Experience developing security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.

• Ability to prepare and communicate executive-level security governance reporting.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Support enterprise SaaS Security Posture Management and cloud security monitoring initiatives.

• Conduct continuous security controls assessments across SaaS applications and technology environments.

• Monitor third-party technology risks and support vendor security assessments.

• Analyze real-time security exposure data to identify vulnerabilities and emerging risks.

• Develop and support automated security risk detection using Python and AI/ML models.

• Identify and track SaaS and cloud security misconfigurations.

• Monitor security compliance requirements and document control deficiencies.

• Support vendor risk mitigation and remediation efforts.

• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses.

• Evaluate cybersecurity controls and recommend security improvements.

• Support implementation and maintenance of security measures.

• Monitor security incidents and assist with investigation and resolution.

• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.

• Prepare executive-level security governance reporting on security posture, compliance, exposure, and third-party risks.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity, technology, risk, compliance, and business teams to strengthen enterprise security practices.

• Identify opportunities to improve security monitoring, automation, and third-party risk management processes.
