SaaS Security Posture & Third-Party Risk Engineering Lead | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a SaaS Security Posture & Third-Party Risk Engineering Lead with 6–9 years of advanced cybersecurity experience to design, implement, and enhance enterprise security monitoring capabilities across SaaS platforms and third-party technology providers. This role focuses on SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM), third-party risk assessment, continuous controls monitoring, Python-based automation, and AI-driven security analytics. The ideal candidate will combine strong cybersecurity engineering expertise with experience developing scalable solutions that improve security visibility, reduce risk exposure, and strengthen enterprise cyber resilience. This is a Contract opportunity.

Core Requirements:

• 6–9 years of advanced cybersecurity experience, including SaaS security, cloud security, and third-party risk management.

• Strong expertise in SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) and third-party exposure monitoring.

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise security monitoring and risk assessment frameworks.

• Strong understanding of continuous controls monitoring, security control validation, and compliance risk assessment.

• Experience identifying vulnerabilities, security misconfigurations, compliance deficiencies, and emerging threats across SaaS and cloud environments.

• Hands-on Python development experience supporting security automation and engineering solutions.

• Experience leveraging AI/ML technologies and advanced analytics to improve risk detection and remediation.

• Experience developing automated security monitoring, exposure management, and risk intelligence capabilities.

• Strong knowledge of third-party vendor security assessments and control effectiveness evaluations.

• Experience integrating security monitoring solutions across SaaS platforms and external technology providers.

• Ability to collaborate with Cybersecurity, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams.

• Experience communicating security posture, technology risk, and control effectiveness to executive stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Lead the development and implementation of enterprise SaaS security posture and third-party risk monitoring solutions.

• Drive SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) and third-party exposure monitoring initiatives.

• Establish continuous security controls monitoring and risk assessment processes for SaaS applications and technology vendors.

• Develop scalable monitoring frameworks to identify security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, compliance deficiencies, and emerging threats.

• Design Python-based automation solutions to improve security monitoring and risk analysis.

• Leverage AI/ML technologies and advanced analytics to strengthen risk detection, prioritization, and remediation.

• Evaluate third-party vendor security controls and identify opportunities to reduce risk exposure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define security requirements and improve cyber resilience.

• Develop automated security monitoring and risk intelligence capabilities across enterprise technology environments.

• Assess security posture and control effectiveness across SaaS applications and external technology providers.

• Provide executive-level reporting on technology risk, security posture, control effectiveness, and emerging threats.

• Identify opportunities to improve security monitoring through modern technologies, automation, and AI-driven analytics.

• Support enterprise cybersecurity risk management and continuous security improvement initiatives.
