AI Endpoint Security Engineer | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking an AI Endpoint Security Engineer with 6+ years of software development and security engineering experience to develop AI-powered cybersecurity solutions and endpoint management automation. This role focuses on Python, Go, LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, MCP integrations, and endpoint security technologies to improve operational efficiency, monitoring, and incident response across enterprise environments. This is a Contract opportunity.

Core Requirements:

• 6+ years of relevant software development and security engineering experience.

• Strong hands-on Python and Go development experience.

• Experience building AI-powered security automation solutions using LLMs and agentic frameworks.

• Experience developing AI agents using Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and third-party APIs.

• Strong understanding of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, output parsing, and reliable agentic workflows.

• Experience implementing error handling, failure recovery, monitoring, and observability for AI agents.

• Experience with vector databases, semantic search, and security product APIs.

• Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon Platform or similar endpoint security solutions.

• Experience developing automation for endpoint management, detection, and response platforms.

• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems and endpoint management.

• Experience integrating security platforms, SIEM technologies, and enterprise systems.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.

• Ability to collaborate with security engineering teams and communicate technical findings effectively.

• Bachelor's degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Master's degree.

• Knowledge of TDLC, SDLC, ETLC, and associated software development tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI-powered cybersecurity engineering and endpoint automation solutions.

• Automate endpoint health, application status, and performance monitoring across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

• Build AI agents and assistants using MCP servers, LLMs, and third-party APIs.

• Develop reliable agentic workflows with error handling, failure recovery, and monitoring capabilities.

• Integrate endpoint security platforms, SIEM technologies, and enterprise systems.

• Develop automation solutions using CrowdStrike Falcon or comparable endpoint security technologies.

• Support security engineering and operational teams through intelligent automation and improved incident response.

• Implement monitoring and observability capabilities for AI-powered security solutions.

• Troubleshoot complex cybersecurity and endpoint management issues.

• Analyze technical issues to identify root causes and recommend system improvements.

• Produce documentation and reports covering endpoint health, compliance, and automation effectiveness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, security, and infrastructure teams.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders and junior engineers.

• Support security platform enhancements, integration improvements, and technology roadmap initiatives.
