Senior Software Engineer – Go, Java & Secure SDLC | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Go, Java & Secure SDLC with 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience to design, build, and secure scalable enterprise applications and platforms using Go, Java, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and APIs. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.

• Strong hands-on development experience with Go (Golang) and Java.

• Experience designing and building secure enterprise-grade applications.

• Strong experience with cloud-native systems, distributed architectures, and microservices.

• Experience designing and developing well-structured APIs.

• Knowledge of secure SDLC practices and application security principles.

• Strong understanding of software design patterns and engineering best practices.

• Experience leading code reviews and contributing to system design and architecture.

• Experience evaluating open-source technologies for enterprise software solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Go and Java.

• Build scalable cloud-native applications using distributed systems and microservices.

• Design and implement APIs to support application functionality and integration.

• Apply secure SDLC practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Implement software design patterns to ensure maintainable and scalable solutions.

• Lead code reviews and contribute to engineering quality and security standards.

• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical strategy.

• Evaluate open-source technologies for enterprise application development.

• Troubleshoot software application and integration issues.

• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
