Walker Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse – Review Analyst with 2–4 years of clinical experience to review healthcare services for medical necessity and appropriate levels of care. This is a Contract opportunity.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2
Core Requirements:
- 2–4 years of clinical experience, including potential acute patient care, discharge planning, case management, or utilization review experience.
- Current unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse license.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge of patient care and healthcare delivery processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, allied health, business, or related field.
- One year of health insurance plan or managed care experience.
- Certification in Case Management, depending on department assignment.
- Conduct prospective, concurrent, and retrospective clinical reviews across care settings.
- Evaluate medical necessity, length of stay, intensity of service, and level of care.
- Review appeals initiated by providers, facilities, and members.
- As applicable, establish care plans, coordinate care, and perform member outreach assessments.
