Walker Healthforce is seeking a Contracting Specialist – Retiree Benefits & Member Support with experience in retiree health benefits, member billing support, and claims escalation to assist retirees with benefit coverage questions and provide in-person support at meetings and events nationwide. This is a Contract opportunity.

Location: Remote with nationwide travel required
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Contracting Specialist – Retiree Benefits & Member Support with experience in retiree health benefits, member billing support, and claims escalation to assist retirees with benefit coverage questions and provide in-person support at meetings and events nationwide. This is a Contract opportunity.

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Core Requirements:
- Knowledge of Trust retiree benefits, including MAPPO, TCN, ECP, BCN, BCNA, and MOTN MAPPO.
- Experience assisting members with billing questions, benefit coverage inquiries, and claims escalations.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to provide professional guidance to retirees.
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities.
- Ability to represent an organization professionally at member meetings and events.
- Ability and willingness to travel nationwide to support member engagement activities.
- Experience coordinating event logistics, transporting meeting materials, and ensuring resources are available for meetings.
- Experience organizing and setting up informational tables, displays, and promotional materials.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including advance preparation and meeting coordination.
- Additional familiarity with Trust retiree health benefit programs and coverage options.
- Travel to locations nationwide to assist retirees and members during informational meetings and events.
- Provide guidance regarding retiree health benefits, coverage questions, and billing inquiries.
- Identify claims-related concerns and route escalations to the appropriate contacts.
- Present benefit information clearly and professionally to members.
- Serve as a knowledgeable representative during member meetings and events.
- Deliver professional customer service and support to retirees.
- Assist with event preparation, meeting materials, and informational displays as needed.
