Billing and Accounting Analyst | Hybrid | Detroit, MI | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Billing and Accounting Analyst with experience in billing, accounting, financial analysis, and reporting to provide support for customer billing inquiries, billing system maintenance, and month-end financial activities. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Hybrid – Detroit, MI onsite 2 days per week

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• Experience in billing, accounting, or similar office management functions.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills.

• Experience analyzing data and producing accurate reports.

• Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.

• Advanced organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Experience working in customer-driven environments.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently in a complex environment.

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Experience conducting variance analysis and account reconciliation.

• Experience reviewing and preparing financial information for accuracy and completeness.

• Experience collaborating between IT and business teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze routine and complex customer billing inquiries.

• Configure and maintain group customer billing systems.

• Support month-end financial activities and reporting.

• Analyze billing and financial data to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare reports and identify billing discrepancies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing-related issues.

• Support billing operations through effective problem-solving and financial analysis.
