Walker Healthforce is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead data architecture, modeling, and integration design for a large-scale project solution. This is a fully remote Contract opportunity requiring strong conceptual data modeling, data-flow design, data integration, and architecture leadership experience.

Location: Remote
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
Contract: Through 02/26/2027

Core Requirements:

• 5-7 years of Data Architect experience
• Advanced data architecture expertise
• Advanced data modeling experience
• Advanced data integration experience
• Conceptual data modeling experience
• Conceptual data-flow design experience
• Experience managing shared data models across project solutions
• Experience establishing alignment and approval among architecture stakeholders
• Data warehousing expertise
• Strong knowledge of relational database engines
• Knowledge of networking concepts
• Knowledge of object-oriented technology
• Experience with large-scale data architectures
• Data integration, processing, and storage design experience
• Experience resolving complex data and integration design issues
• Experience managing inter-project data dependencies
• Understanding of data security, quality, and governance
• Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Experience supporting complex enterprise data architecture initiatives
• Experience coordinating architecture across multiple applications or projects

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage shared information and data models
• Develop conceptual data models and conceptual data flows
• Secure architecture peer alignment and approval
• Ensure application data models align with approved architecture
• Ensure integration designs align with conceptual data flows
• Review data-related resource plans and estimates
• Resolve data and integration architecture issues
• Plan and sequence inter-project data dependencies
• Design scalable architectures for large data volumes
• Translate data requirements into technical architecture solutions
• Support data integration, processing, and storage architecture
• Address data security, quality, and governance requirements
• Optimize data solutions for performance and scalability
