IT Delivery Lead I – Healthcare Payer | Hybrid | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking an IT Delivery Lead I – Healthcare Payer with 5+ years of related experience preferred to provide project leadership and manage complex IT delivery initiatives within a healthcare payer environment. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid -Detroit MI
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• Prior healthcare payer processing systems experience, including Claims, Membership, Eligibility, or related systems
• Experience managing project execution and IT delivery for healthcare payer projects
• Experience managing multiple IT delivery work streams, including financial management
• Experience coordinating with Business Leads and IT Technical Leads
• Ability to facilitate and lead requirements-gathering sessions and develop business requirements documents
• Experience facilitating IT architecture solutions and detailed design
• Strong project planning, risk management, communication, and leadership skills

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• 5+ years of related experience
• Master’s degree in a related field

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage project execution and IT delivery while providing day-to-day project leadership.
• Oversee multi-year, cross-program execution schedules.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent IT work streams and deliverables.
• Monitor project dependencies, risks, issues, defects, milestones, and schedule impacts.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, communication plans, and quality plans.
• Coordinate closely with business and technical leadership.
• Support issue, risk, and defect resolution and escalation.
• Facilitate IT architecture solutions and detailed design.
• Manage project staffing plans, resource gaps, milestones, and deliverables.
• Provide project status reporting and support successful execution of project commitments.
