IT Delivery Lead II – Rx & Ancillary | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking an IT Delivery Lead II – Rx & Ancillary with experience coordinating complex technology delivery initiatives from planning through implementation, warranty, and closure. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• Experience leading technology projects and releases across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Strong integrated planning, milestone, dependency, and critical-path management skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional business, technical, architecture, testing, operations, finance, and vendor teams.
• Strong project governance, risk, issue, dependency, and escalation management experience.
• Experience with project estimates, resource forecasting, funding, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership and executive communication skills.
• Ability to independently drive work forward, maintain accountability, and provide recommendations when decisions or escalation are required. job

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead project and release delivery from planning through implementation and closure.
• Create and maintain integrated work plans, milestones, dependencies, schedules, and resource plans.
• Coordinate project governance, approvals, documentation, and milestone-readiness activities.
• Manage estimates, forecasts, resources, funding, and project cost performance.
• Coordinate business, technical, architecture, testing, operations, finance, and vendor stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and delivery dependencies.
• Coordinate requirements, solution readiness, testing, defect resolution, implementation, and production validation.
• Prepare concise leadership reporting and recommendations on project status, schedule, financials, risks, and decisions.
• Drive accountability across project teams while maintaining productive stakeholder relationships. job
