Technical Program Manager – Big Data / BI / Analytics | New York, NY | Hybrid Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead large, complex Big Data, Business Intelligence, and Analytics initiatives from concept through successful delivery. This is a hybrid Contract opportunity requiring onsite work in New York City every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite (T/W/Th)
Hours/Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours/week
Contract: Through 04/30/2027
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 5+ years of project/program management or delivery leadership experience
• Experience leading large Big Data, BI, or Analytics projects
• Experience managing initiatives from concept through concrete deliverables
• Experience leading large cross-functional teams in technical environments
• Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
• Project planning and scheduling experience
• Risk, issue, and dependency management experience
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
• Experience managing quality and delivery expectations
• Strong project status reporting and presentation capabilities
• Hands-on experience with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in NYC Tuesday through Thursday

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• PMP certification
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• CPMAI methodology experience
• CRISP-DM, TDSP, or SEMMA experience
• Keynote proficiency
• Experience with Wrike, Miro, Box, or Quip

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead complex Big Data, BI, and Analytics initiatives
• Manage technical programs from concept through delivery
• Develop and maintain project plans and schedules
• Coordinate large cross-functional technical teams
• Track program milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Monitor project progress and performance
• Troubleshoot complex delivery challenges
• Coordinate communication across business and technical stakeholders
• Ensure deliverables meet quality and stakeholder expectations
• Prepare and present program status reporting
• Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies based on delivery requirements
• Maintain effective delivery governance and documentation
• Support timely resolution of technical and program-level issues
