Walker Healthforce is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with strong hands-on experience across Java, React JS, Spring Boot, Microservices, Camunda, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. This is an onsite Contract opportunity requiring candidates to work 5 days per week in Columbus, Ohio.

Location: Columbus, OH – Onsite 5 days/week
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week

Core Requirements:

• 6-9+ years of Full Stack Java development experience
• Advanced hands-on Java development skills
• React JS development experience
• Spring Boot development experience
• Microservices architecture and development experience
• Camunda workflow development experience
• AWS cloud development experience
• Experience with AWS EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and EKS
• Docker containerization experience
• Kubernetes orchestration experience
• API and application integration experience
• Unit testing and debugging experience
• Code review and code quality experience
• Experience translating requirements into technical specifications
• Experience developing high-performance, responsive applications
• Experience leveraging AI throughout the software development lifecycle
• Ability to work onsite in Columbus 5 days per week

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications
• Build full-stack applications using Java and React JS
• Develop Spring Boot services and Microservices
• Design and implement Camunda workflows
• Develop and integrate application APIs
• Build solutions using AWS EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and EKS
• Containerize applications using Docker
• Support container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Translate requirements into technical specifications
• Perform unit testing and debugging
• Participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot application issues
• Optimize application performance and responsiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams
• Leverage AI throughout the SDLC to support development activities
• Recommend appropriate improvements based on evolving Java technologies and frameworks
