Walker Healthforce is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement web applications using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and Microsoft .NET technologies. This role focuses on developing ASP.NET MVC applications, applying established software development standards, and resolving technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Candidates must complete the required eQIP process prior to beginning work. This is a Contract opportunity.

Location: Remote
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Core Requirements:

Must complete the required eQIP process prior to beginning work.

Experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing web applications.

Experience with ASP.NET and C# development.

Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and/or .NET 6+.

Experience developing web applications using the ASP.NET MVC Framework.

Experience using JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience working with SQL and database-driven applications.

Experience troubleshooting application defects and technical issues.

Ability to apply established technical standards, principles, concepts, and software development practices.

Ability to resolve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.

– Experience with cloud technologies or cloud-based application environments.
Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.

Develop and support web applications using the ASP.NET MVC Framework.

Develop and maintain applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 6+ technologies, as applicable.

Write and maintain application code to support business and technical requirements.

Support database-driven application functionality using SQL.

Investigate and resolve application defects, coding issues, and technical problems.

Debug application functionality and implement appropriate corrections.
-
Apply established software engineering standards, technical principles, and development practices.

Analyze and resolve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Support ongoing application development, maintenance, and technical improvements.
