Walker Healthforce is seeking an experienced Banking Operations Contractor – Finance Operations Improvement to support operational improvement initiatives within a financial services environment. This is a hybrid Contract opportunity requiring 3 days per week onsite in New York City. job

Start Date: 11/02/2026
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Contract: Through 04/25/2027

Core Requirements:

• 3-5 years of banking operations, finance operations improvement, or related experience
• Banking operations process analysis experience
• Process improvement and optimization experience
• Experience supporting operational strategy and process implementation
• Regulatory and internal policy compliance experience
• Strong process and procedure documentation skills
• Experience collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups
• Experience supporting technology-enabled process improvements
• Process automation exposure
• KPI monitoring and reporting experience
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work onsite in New York City 3 days per week

• Banking policy and procedure writing experience
• Financial services operational transformation experience
• Experience supporting process automation initiatives
• Experience developing operational performance reporting

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze banking operations and identify improvement opportunities
• Support development and implementation of operational processes
• Improve efficiency and effectiveness across banking operations
• Support regulatory and internal policy compliance
• Develop and maintain operational process and procedure documentation
• Collaborate with business and operational stakeholders
• Support process automation and technology-enabled improvements
• Monitor and report operational KPIs
• Identify operational performance gaps
• Support implementation of process improvements
• Provide guidance on banking operations procedures and best practices
• Assist with operational change and continuous improvement initiatives
