Walker Healthforce is seeking an AI Data Engineer – Snowflake / Generative AI with strong hands-on experience developing Generative AI, RAG, and Snowflake AI solutions. This is a remote Contract opportunity focused on building advanced AI-powered analytics and automation solutions. job

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Core Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant AI, machine learning, data engineering, or related experience
• Advanced Snowflake expertise
• Snowflake Cortex AI experience
• Hands-on Generative AI and RAG development
• Advanced AI agent development experience
• Vector search and retrieval workflow experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Semantic data modeling experience
• AI-powered analytics workflow experience
• Prompt engineering experience
• Experience implementing AI guardrails
• AI/RAG evaluation experience
• Experience developing grounded AI responses
• Experience deploying and monitoring AI-driven solutions

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Experience developing production-ready AI solutions entirely within or closely integrated with the Snowflake ecosystem
• Experience combining semantic data models with Generative AI applications
• Experience evaluating and optimizing RAG and agent-based workflows
• Broader machine learning model development and production monitoring experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Build Generative AI and RAG solutions
• Develop Snowflake Cortex AI solutions
• Design and implement AI agent workflows
• Develop vector-search-based retrieval workflows
• Build and maintain semantic data models
• Develop AI-powered analytics solutions
• Use SQL to prepare and analyze data for AI workflows
• Perform prompt engineering and optimization
• Implement AI guardrails
• Evaluate RAG and Generative AI solution quality
• Develop grounded AI response workflows
• Develop and evaluate AI/ML models
• Deploy AI-driven applications
• Monitor AI solution performance in production
• Document technical methodologies and solutions
• Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with project requirements
