Senior Data Engineer – AWS & Snowflake | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Senior Data Engineer – AWS & Snowflake with strong cloud data engineering, SQL, and healthcare domain experience to support enterprise data and analytics solutions. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Hours/Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of relevant data engineering experience
• Advanced hands-on AWS experience
• Advanced Snowflake experience
• Advanced SQL query development and analytical skills
• Advanced requirements gathering experience
• Prior healthcare client/domain experience
• Experience designing and developing data engineering solutions
• Experience supporting data and system integrations
• Strong testing, validation, and technical troubleshooting capabilities
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Healthcare IT subject matter expertise
• Experience supporting healthcare data and analytics initiatives
• Experience translating complex healthcare requirements into cloud-based data solutions

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data solutions leveraging AWS and Snowflake
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries
• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements
• Translate requirements into effective data engineering solutions
• Support data and system integration activities
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure solution reliability
• Troubleshoot technical and data-related issues
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
• Support healthcare-focused data and analytics requirements
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, processes, and documentation
