Full Stack Java Developer – React & Camunda | Jersey City, NJ | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer – React & Camunda with advanced hands-on development experience to build and maintain enterprise applications across Java, React, workflow, and AWS technologies. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: 10/05/2026
Location: Jersey City, NJ – Onsite 5 days per week
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• Advanced hands-on Full Stack Java development experience
• Strong Java and Spring Boot development expertise
• Hands-on React.js experience
• Hands-on Camunda workflow development experience
• Strong microservices architecture and development experience
• AWS experience with EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and EKS
• Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted capabilities throughout the SDLC
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code reviews
• Ability to work onsite in Jersey City 5 days per week

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Experience applying AI-assisted capabilities across multiple stages of enterprise software delivery
• Experience developing highly integrated enterprise applications
• Strong cloud-native Java development experience on AWS

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack Java applications
• Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices
• Develop responsive application interfaces using React.js
• Design and implement workflows using Camunda
• Develop and integrate solutions using AWS services
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Apply AI-assisted capabilities throughout the SDLC
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout development and delivery
