Scrum Master | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Scrum Master with 5–7 years of Scrum Master or Agile delivery experience to facilitate and support Agile teams in the iterative and incremental delivery of products and services. This role will promote effective Scrum and SAFe practices, facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement. Candidates must possess the required active/usable clearance and be cleared to begin work on day one. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in Agile delivery.
  • Must possess the required active/usable clearance and be cleared to begin work on day one.
  • Experience facilitating and supporting Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Experience applying Scrum and SAFe practices to product and service delivery.
  • Experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Experience coordinating across Product Owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
  • Experience coaching teams to improve collaboration, accountability, adaptability, and self-organization.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing team and business needs.

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

  • Experience supporting PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt sessions.
  • Experience working with Product Owners on user story creation, prioritization, and Product Backlog refinement.
  • Understanding of technical delivery processes, including testing and deployment.
  • Experience supporting Agile team development and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum practices for assigned teams.
  • Guide teams in effectively applying Scrum and SAFe practices.
  • Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective sessions.
  • Support PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt sessions.
  • Coach and support team members in strengthening Agile practices.
  • Promote accountability, adaptability, collaboration, and self-organization.
  • Partner with Product Owners on user stories, prioritization, and Product Backlog refinement.
  • Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support improvements to testing and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams to support successful delivery.
