Walker Healthforce is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement web application solutions using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and the ASP.NET MVC Framework. Candidates must possess the required active/usable clearance and be cleared to begin work on day one. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• Must possess the required active/usable clearance and be cleared to begin work on day one.
• Experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing web applications.
• Experience with ASP.NET and C# development.
• Experience developing web applications using the ASP.NET MVC Framework.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving application and technical issues.
• Ability to apply established technical standards, principles, concepts, and development best practices.
• Ability to solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Experience with Microsoft development environments and tools.
• Experience supporting and maintaining existing web applications.
• Familiarity with application integrations and web services.
• Understanding of software development standards, design principles, and best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement web application software.
• Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Develop and support web applications using the ASP.NET MVC Framework.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to support application and data requirements.
• Investigate and resolve application defects and technical issues.
• Apply established technical standards, principles, concepts, and development practices.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements and support application solutions.
• Participate in application testing, maintenance, documentation, and ongoing technical support.
• Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
