Walker Healthforce is seeking a Software Engineer with 2–4 years of relevant software development experience to develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and support software and web application solutions using C#, .NET, SQL, and related web technologies. Candidates must possess the required active/usable clearance and be cleared to begin work on day one. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Core Requirements:

• Must possess the required active/usable clearance and be cleared to begin work on day one.
• 2–4 years of relevant software development experience, including professional, internship, or applicable project experience.
• Experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting software or web applications.
• Experience with C# and .NET technologies.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and general web development concepts.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including writing and troubleshooting queries.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio or similar development tools.
• Understanding of web services and API development/integration concepts.
• Familiarity with version control, source code management, and software development best practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Experience developing or supporting web applications using ASP.NET/.NET.
• Exposure to API and application integrations.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and debug software and web application solutions.
• Develop and support applications using C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, SQL, and related web technologies.
• Develop and maintain integrations between applications, APIs, databases, and other systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and scripts to support application and data requirements.
• Utilize development and version-control tools to manage source code, dependencies, and application changes.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
• Apply established technical standards, development principles, and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, documentation, and ongoing application support.
• Identify and resolve technical issues of moderate scope and complexity.
• Follow applicable security, data privacy, and organizational development standards.
