AI Project Manager | New York City, NY – Hybrid | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking an AI Project Manager with approximately 6+ years of project management, program delivery, or related experience to support complex technology and AI initiatives involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: New York City, NY – Hybrid; candidates must be NYC-based and available onsite an average of 3 days per week
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• Approximately 6+ years of project management, program delivery, or related experience
• Strong experience managing complex technology programs with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience working with Agile and other technology delivery methodologies and tools
• Strong project planning, risk, issue, dependency, and delivery management experience
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into clear delivery updates, risks, and decisions
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments
• Must be based in New York City and available to work onsite an average of 3 days per week

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Experience delivering AI or GenAI initiatives
• Experience with machine learning, data, automation, or advanced analytics programs
• Familiarity with AI delivery considerations, including model development, data dependencies, integrations, testing, governance, deployment, and production readiness

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage complex technology and AI-related project delivery across multiple stakeholders and teams
• Track project plans, milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues
• Coordinate activities across cross-functional business and technology teams
• Facilitate Agile delivery activities and ceremonies as applicable
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project delivery
• Coordinate delivery considerations associated with AI models, data, integrations, testing, governance, deployment, and production readiness
• Provide clear project status, risk, dependency, and decision updates to stakeholders
• Translate complex technical topics into concise executive-level communications
• Support adherence to Agile and other applicable technology delivery methodologies
