Epic OpTime Senior Consultant | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking an Epic OpTime Senior Consultant with 6-9 years of experience to provide Epic OpTime build, configuration, workflow, testing, and optimization expertise supporting perioperative and surgical operations. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours; preference for Pacific Time (PST) hours, with some flexibility
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 6-9 years of Epic experience
• Epic OpTime certification required
• Hands-on Epic OpTime build and configuration experience
• Experience with surgical scheduling and preference cards
• Experience configuring intraoperative documentation and anesthesia records
• Experience mapping perioperative and surgical workflows into Epic
• Experience translating business and clinical requirements into Epic solutions
• Knowledge of clinical safety and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, ICD-10, and audit trails
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Epic Anesthesia certification
• Epic Anesthesia experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and configure Epic OpTime workflows and functionality
• Configure surgical scheduling, preference cards, intraoperative documentation, and anesthesia records
• Map surgical and perioperative workflows into Epic solutions
• Facilitate design discussions and translate requirements into Epic configurations
• Troubleshoot and resolve Epic system issues
• Conduct system testing and validation
• Support Epic application implementation and optimization
• Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and processes
