AI Product Owner / Product Manager | Hybrid | New York City, NY | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking an AI Product Owner / Product Manager with 3+ years of experience to provide product management and delivery support for AI/ML and Generative AI products. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid – New York City, NY; onsite at least 3 days per week. Candidates must currently live in New York City. No travel permitted.
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant Product Owner / Product Manager experience
• Product management experience supporting AI/ML or Generative AI products
• Experience owning product roadmaps, backlogs, and requirements
• Experience developing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Agile/Scrum experience, including running ceremonies
• Experience coordinating engineering, design, and business stakeholders
• Experience defining success metrics and working with evaluation/quality data
• Must currently live in New York City and be available onsite at least 3 days per week

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Conversational AI or LLM-based product experience
• Familiarity with GCP, Vertex AI, CCAI, or comparable cloud AI platforms
• Healthcare or regulated-industry experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain AI/ML or Generative AI product roadmaps and backlogs
• Gather and translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and coordinate product delivery
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and business stakeholders
• Define product success metrics and evaluate quality and performance data
• Support the delivery and continuous improvement of AI-enabled products
