Lead Full Stack Developer – Python/AI | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer – Python/AI with 6-9 years of experience to provide full stack application development and support scalable, AI-enabled technical solutions. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 6-9 years of advanced Python development experience
• Full stack development experience across front-end and back-end web applications
• Experience with PySpark, SQL Server, and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of server-side development, databases, testing, and debugging
• Experience collaborating within Agile development environments
• Ability to support technical design, code reviews, and complex application development

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• GenAI prompt engineering experience
• Experience developing AI-enabled technical capabilities
• Experience serving in a lead engineering capacity and supporting other developers

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications
• Build responsive user interfaces and scalable server-side functionality
• Design and maintain databases supporting application requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders
• Support technical designs, code reviews, and implementation of complex user stories
• Test and debug applications for functionality, performance, and security
• Explore opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities into technical solutions
