M365 Security Architect | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking an M365 Security Architect with 6-9 years of experience to provide security architecture and implementation support across Microsoft 365 and the Microsoft security ecosystem. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 6-9 years of advanced cybersecurity/security architecture experience
• Strong Microsoft 365 Security experience
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Purview, Intune, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud
• Experience with email security and Microsoft Defender for Office 365
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft security stack

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• MD-102, SC-401, SC-300, and/or SC-100 certifications
• Hands-on Microsoft security implementation experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Support Microsoft 365 security architecture and information security initiatives
• Implement and maintain security capabilities across Intune, MDE, Purview, and related Microsoft security technologies
• Support email security and Microsoft Defender solutions
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analysis
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and potential threats
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate security best practices into project activities
