ForgeRock Java Developer | Houston, TX | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a ForgeRock Java Developer with 6-9 years of experience to provide Java application development and support for high-performance, scalable solutions. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Onsite – Downtown Houston, TX, 5 days per week; local candidates only, no relocations

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 6-9 years of advanced ForgeRock experience

• Strong Java development experience

• Advanced AWS Java experience

• Strong Spring Boot and Microservices experience

• Experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and EKS

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code reviews

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Full Stack Java experience

• Broad Amazon Web Services experience

• Experience leveraging AI throughout the software development lifecycle

• Experience evaluating Java technologies and frameworks and recommending improvements

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications.

• Design solutions focused on application performance and responsiveness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.

• Conduct unit testing and debugging to support application functionality and reliability.

• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.

• Develop solutions using Spring Boot and microservices.

• Work with AWS services and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Leverage AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
