Power BI and Sigma Reporting Lead | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Power BI and Sigma Reporting Lead with 10+ years of experience to lead business intelligence reporting, analytics solution design, and development across Power BI and Sigma. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience leading BI teams, primarily within the Insurance Finance domain

• Expert Power BI experience, including DAX, row-level security, DirectQuery, and dataflows

• Experience leading Power BI and Sigma reporting development

• Experience with insurance finance metrics including premiums, losses, commissions, P&L, balance sheet, loss ratios, and combined ratios

• Strong experience with P&C data models, reporting security, and access management

• Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, and enterprise reporting solutions

• Strong stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and solution design experience

• Additional insurance domain knowledge

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead Power BI and Sigma reporting and analytics development efforts

• Partner with business stakeholders, functional leads, BI architects, and technical teams to define reporting needs

• Translate business requirements into practical reporting and analytics solutions

• Lead solution design discussions and clarify reporting requirements

• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and supporting data models

• Provide input to data modelers regarding changes needed to support reporting, security, and access requirements

• Develop reporting for key insurance finance and executive performance metrics

• Perform data validation and quality checks to support accurate reporting

• Support self-service analytics and governed reporting solutions

• Optimize reporting processes, data pipelines, and semantic models to improve delivery

• Align solutions with enterprise reporting standards
