Tech Lead (Full Stack Engineer) | Onsite | Pleasanton, CA | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Tech Lead (Full Stack Engineer) with 7+ years of experience to provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise full-stack web applications and modern microservices solutions. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Onsite – Pleasanton, CA 

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 7+ years of enterprise full-stack Java development experience
• 7+ years working with Java, JavaScript, Angular, React.js, Node.js, Spring Boot, and HTML
• Experience developing REST/SOAP services using microservices architecture
• Strong experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, GitHub, IAM, and DevOps tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, secure coding, and deployment automation
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills
• Ability to work onsite in Pleasanton, CA

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Kubernetes
• Azure cloud services
• Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architecture
• Agile experience
• JUnit, SOAPUI, Postman, or JMeter
• Enterprise microservices architecture experience
• AI-enabled application architecture experience
• Development team leadership and mentoring experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise application design and development
• Develop and support REST and SOAP services
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and development teams
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure development practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments
• Evaluate new technologies and support AI/LLM integration initiatives
